Mumbai: First Rahul Mahajan along with the three remaining contestants on Bigg Boss 2 jumps of the wall on Saturday night and breaks the golden rule of the reality show. And then he refused to apologise to Bigg Boss.
He said, "Maine koi galati nahi ki. Mujhe nikaalna hai to nikaal dein." ("I haven't done anyting wrong. If they want to throw me out, they can.")
This led to the unceremonious exit of the most popular and the most controversial housemate of the Bigg Boss house, Rahul Mahajan on Monday night.
While some of the former Bigg Boss 2 housemates believe that Rahul could have lost interest in the show after good friend Monica's exit; others say it may just be a publicty stunt.
One of the former contestants, politician Sanjay Nirupam said, "I am not surprised at all by Rahul's eviction. He treated the house the way he wanted and broke rules. I am not surprised or shocked."
Rahul Mahajan was one of the favourites in the show, touted to win the reality show this Saturday. He's Mr Popular within the house and made for good television with his antics and his affair with Monica Bedi.
Most of the regular Bigg Boss fans thought that Rahul Mahajan was playing like a true politician and had mastered the art of manipulating the game. Some said that he was very good at keeping his cool.
But just five days before the finale he proved everyone wrong. Though it was interesting to watch his steps inside the Bigg Boss house, what will be more interesting is to find out is: What next for Rahul Mahajan? He may be away from the 32 cameras inside the house, but there will be many more cameras following him from now on.
