Are our people safe? India asks Australia to explain

India on Wednesday sought "credible answers" from Australia about the safety of its nationals who are studying in that country. "It is important to understand that there is anger and frustration in India over what is happening (in Australia)," said Indian High Commissioner Sujatha Singh in an article published in the Age newspaper in Melbourne.

Hospital accused of infecting HIV to kids given clean chit

A report submitted to the Government on Tuesday on HIV infection of five Thalassemic children allegedly during blood transfusion at a hospital in Jodhpur has virtually given a clean chit to the facility, saying the infection might have happened from elsewhere. The SN Medical College here has sent a detailed report to the government on the incident, which had come to light when the blood of a child was tested in the microbiology lab of the medical college.

PayPal suspends payment transactions in India

Online payment service provider PayPal on Saturday said that it has suspended certain types of payment transaction in India. In a blog posted on its website, PayPal spokesperson Anuj Nayar wrote "... personal payments to and from India and transfers to local banks in India have been suspended while we work with our business partners and other stakeholders to address questions they have about the service".
