Ahemadabad: A doctor has allegedly been abducted from the outskirts of Ahmedabad on Friday night.
Police say Dr Hitesh Shah, a popular gynecologist of Ahmedabad, was abducted by unidentified men.
Shah was in his car with a friend when two people knocked on his car's window and engaged in a scuffle as Shah opened the door.
The girl accompanying Shah ran out of the car to gather help. But on returning back with some people she found Shah and the men missing.
Police have traced Shah's car and registered a case of alleged abduction. They have also sent out teams across the city to find Shah.
Blood stains have also been found in the car.
