AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa said, "It remains to seen whether it was just a guided tour or whether they were taken to camps where the condition of people are really bad.
Meanwhile, DMK's response came through Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi who said, "It was not a guided tour. We were allowed to go wherever we wanted to and we visited many camps. We are sure the people will be rehabilitated soon.
In fact, the DMK has come out with a report that was handed over to chief minister Karunanidhi.

Colombo has confirmed it is in the process of sending back to their homes 58,000 refugees which will be completed in the next fortnight.
However, government sources said that Sri Lankan president Mahinda Rajapakse was neither reaching out to the Tamils nor making any sincere moves to resolve Tamil grievances.
