Ajmer (Rajasthan): Eleven-year-old Arshad, who was visiting the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti shrine in Ajmer from Mumbai, lost his uncle after terror struck at the dargah on Thursday.
Arshad was inside the dargah with his uncle and aunt when the blast rocked the shrine.
He sustained injuries in the blast, but his condition is stable now after he was nursed back to health by two Hindu ladies on Thursday night.
Arshad is still not aware of the tragedy that has struck his family. As for the ladies who took care of him, they say nothing comes in the way of humanity.
Says one of the women who looked after Arshad, Vimlesh Shekhawat, "On humanitarian grounds, it was my duty to help people in this situation. I have no words to crticise whatever happened."
Terror struck the shrine on Thursday evening when a bomb exploded inside the complex killing two persons and injuring 20 others as thousands of Muslims were breaking their day-long Ramzan fast.
A near stampede broke out soon after the bomb kept in a tiffin box exploded.
The deceased were identified as Saleem of Hyderabad, and Mohammed Shoaib of Mumbai, the ADG said, adding the 20 injured included some pilgrims from Orissa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Jammu and Kashmir.
