New Delhi: The Madhya Pradesh police claim to have solved the murder of Ajmer blast mastermind and senior RSS leader Sunil Joshi.

Madhya Pradesh police say that RSS pracharak Sunil Joshi was killed by his own associates.

Joshi who was the brains behind Ajmer, Mecca Masjid blasts was shot dead on Dec 29, 2007 in Dewas.

Police claim a man named Harshad Solanki has confessed to the crime. According to police, Solanki admitted that he had murdered Joshi, as he was not behaving properly. Solanki has been in police custody for 2 weeks now.

Earlier the Madhya Pradesh police had closed the Sunil Joshi murder case for lack of evidence.

However, there are some questions which still remain unanswered.

Sunil Joshi was killed way back in December 2007: why were no arrests made earlier?

Why was Solanki arrested if the Madhya Police claimed there was lack of evidence?

Did 'personal insults' really provoke Joshi's murder?

Where did the weapon that was used to kill Joshi come from?
