CNN-IBN’s Iram Mirza caught up with the actor and the designer after the show.
Iram Mirza: It was your maiden walk on the ramp. How did you feel?
Akshaye Khanna: I enjoyed it. It was fun.
Iram Mirza: Manav, what did you think when you designed for Akshaye?
Manav Gangwani: I made various options for him because I wanted him to be comfortable. He has a very subtle and a classy style. I would say he is more British in his way in a classic manner.
Iram Mirza: Akshaye, it was a completely men’s wear line. So did you miss all the girls backstage?
Akshaye Khanna: They were all there. It was a feast for the eyes.
Iram Mirza: What’s fashion for you?
Akshaye Khanna: Fashion is just an extension of your personality.
Iram Mirza: What after Salaam-e-Ishq?
Akshaye Khanna: Lots of things happening this year. There are about three to four of my films releasing this year.
