'Alex Pandian' audio gets launched on Rajinikanth's birthday

The audio launch of the film Alex Pandian, starring Karthi and Anushka took place today. The event was planned to fall on the birthday of superstar Rajinikanth, who turns 62 today following his original role of Alex Pandian. The music of the film has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad, and it's being directed by Suraj. Apart from the lead actors, Santhanam will follow a comedy track in the film. The team has opted to use different lyricists for the tracks with the likes of Vaali, Viveka, Karunakaran and Pa Vijay all featuring in the album.
