New Delhi: The admission season at the Delhi University (DU) began on Monday. Almost 1.5 lakh students from across the country are expected to apply for 43,000 seats that fall under DU.
Forms will be available from 10 am to 1pm at the 15 centres notified by the University, seven of which are placed on the Delhi Metro route.
Admissions to the 63 colleges under Delhi University are through the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) forms that are available from these designated centres.
All colleges except St Stephens and Jesus Mary College accept OMR forms. Forms will be available till June 16.
The first cut off list will be put up on June 26. With DU introducing the Other Backward Class (OBC) reservation this year, candidates are advised to get their certificates ready
For the North zone, forms are available at Dean, Students Welfare, Kirori Mal College and Faculty of Arts.
For the South zone, students can pick up the form from Deputy Dean, Students Welfare, Deshbandhu College, ARSD College, Gargi College, PGDAV College and College of Vocational Studies.
For the East zone forms are available at Shyam Lal College, Vivekananda College, and Maharaja Agrasen College
For the West zone, forms are available at the Rajdhani College and Bharti College.
In the Central zone, students can pick up the forms at Zakir Husain College.
