New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan has reached a position where he doesn’t need to worry about the criticism that comes his way, but it’s his humility which compels him to acknowledge the voice of fans. The megastar makes it a point by addressing their criticism through his blogs and tweets.
Big B’s attachment to fans got visible when he was admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery. Some may find it absurd but it was his care for the admirers that he kept tweeting about his health condition till the operation happened.
Amitabh Bachchan is as busy as any other superstar, probably more than that, because character roles are any day more in number than lead roles. There is another story of his TV endorsements. Be it the films or be it the TV, his face appears more than any other actor on screen. Whatever he does becomes the news, but the man himself doesn't care much about such news. He remains the simpleton who never hesitates in admitting his connection with Allahabad.
The man seems to be a prolific reader and whenever he is not reading, he dedicates much of his time in praising new talents. Ranvir Shorey and Sujoy Ghosh would understand how precious Big B’s comments are.
Zohra Sehgal has been in the industry since many years but rarely got her due till one Amitabh Bachchan praised Sehgal for her ever youthful enthusiasm.
Big B is not just a name, he is a symbol of hard earned respect. A man who was once on the verge of leaving Mumbai, is among one of the most prominent faces of this city today. Newcomers would just wish him to be their mentor for as long as possible.
