Amitabh to be a part of Resul Pookutty's directorial debut?

Resul Pookutty seems to have almost finalized his scripts for his debut film. Earlier he was after Anand's much acclaimed novel, Govardhante Yathrakal, which he was planning to adapt for screen.

But now the Academy winner sound designer, Resul has decided to launch himself with Amitabh Bachchan on the cast lines.

Amitabh Bachchan has recently admitted to the press that Pookutty contacted him for the role of a Pakistani national in his directorial debut film and he is yet to give his consent.

Big B has admitted that Oscar winner, Resul contacted him to play a Pak national in his directorial debut film.

As per early reports, Resul Pookutty is planning to make an emotional subject, rather than a political one. Which will tell more about the life across the borders. The basic plot will be about the relationship between a father and a son.

Not much is known about the rest of the cast and about the languages, in which this movie will be made.
