After their hit pairing in Partner, Katrina Kaif was approached for an extended cameo opposite Govinda in Abbas-Mustan's Life Partner.
But Katrina cited her inability to do the film as she was headed to London for a few weeks.
The makers have now roped in Amrita Rao for the role opposite ChiChi. Amrita's last release was the Akshaye Khanna starrer Shortkut-The Con Is On, in which she played a very glamorous role.
Govinda plays a divorce lawyer in this Rumi Jaffery directed film. Rumi had earlier directed the Salman Khan starrer God Tussi Great Ho. Katrina was a part of Abbas-Mustan's blockbuster thriller Race.
The other couples in the film are Fardeen Khan-Genelia D'Souza and Tusshar Kapoor-Prachi Desai. Life Partner releases worldwide on August 14 by Studio 18.
