London: The London house where singer Amy Winehouse died last year is set to be auctioned off after failing to sell on the property market. The 'Rehab' hitmaker's family put the three bedroom property in Camden Square up for sale in May (2012) with a price tag of 2.63 million pounds, but the home struggled to attract attention and is now set to go under the hammer for 1.75 million pounds, reported Daily Mail online.

The auction will happen at the headquarters of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. The auction catalog does not mention that the 2,500 square-foot property belonged to Winehouse.

The pad recently hit the news after thieves raided the house and stole two of the star's dresses, including the anchor-patterned mini she wore on her wedding day in 2006. Winehouse passed away from alcohol poisoning in July, 2011.
