CNN-IBN: You believe your brother is innocent.
Sanjana Jon:: Absolutely. Because I was with him. Not just because I am his sister but because I work with him and live with him. I know that this did not happen because I was there 99 per cent of times.
CNN-IBN: So are all the women who have filed cases lying?
Sanjana Jon:: I know most of these people. Most of them were hanging out with us. Thereafter they claimed something happened.
CNN-IBN: This is an extraordinary case. Not everyday do so many people come out, gang up and file a case. Why will it happen to Anand Jon?
Sanjana Jon:: First of all, he’s an Indian boy, we don’t have back up and in an industry where it’s difficult for an American to make it, Anand had reached a point and he was picked up by Newsweek as the designer to watch out for. All this made him a target for these people. He was an easy target.
CNN-IBN: Because he was an Indian?
Sanjana Jon:: Definitely.
CNN-IBN: There are other Indians too. It doesn’t happen too often.
Sanjana Jon:: How many Indians are in the fashion or entertainment industry? Especially in a situation like this?
CNN-IBN: You came here for help. Did you get any?
Sanjana Jon:: We met a lot of people including Rahul Gandhi and Vylar Ravi and many other leaders from Congress and BJP.
CNN-IBN: What kind of support did you get from Rahul Gandhi? Did he hear you out?
Sanjana Jon:: Yes, he definitely did. He said he will look into it and I am trusting his word.
