Hyderabad: Four women, two from West Bengal and two from Mumbai, were kidnapped from a government-run shelter in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Reports indicate that the four women were victims of trafficking and sexual exploitation and were kidnapped earlier this morning from Ramanathaur.
The other inmates of the shelter staged a protest asking for immediate police action.
The police have registered a case of abduction. They say that a few men broke into the shelter and abducted the women who are aged between 20 and 25 years.
