Hyderabad: Saffron activists on Thursday held demonstrations in Andhra Pradesh and forced young men and women who celebrated Valentine's Day to get 'married'. The activists forcefully married young couples when they were spotted together in public places in Hyderabad and across the state.

Bajrang Dal, VHP and other saffron outfits also held rallies condemning the celebration of Valentine's Day.

The organisations had already announced that they would 'counsel' boys and girls, if they are minors, and not hesitate to perform 'marriages' if couples are majors.
