Hyderabad: In continuing shame for the nation, two Andhra Pradesh police constables were on Monday accused of sexual assault in two separate incidents. A senior constable was suspended after a 17-year-old lodged a complaint that he tried to pull her into his car on Saturday night.
In a separate instance in Vijayawada, a constable was charged with rape after a dowry harassment victim claimed that she was repeatedly raped by the policeman when she went to lodge a complaint for being tortured for dowry.
A case has been registered against him.
