The Facebook page for Anna Hazare's non-violent protest had more than two lakh forty thousand 'likes' on Wednesday afternoon.
'India against Corruption' on Facebook clocked three lakh twenty thousand plus supporters. A separate web page for the movement says 1.3 crore people rung up to show solidarity. It hosts a list of protests planned across India, with the organisers cell numbers and email ids for easy referral.
All that, masterminded by quiet engineers like Kevin Gala. Working behind the scenes, he and his team have harnessed the web to spread Anna's web across India.
