New Delhi: Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare on Monday said that he was unaware of former colleague Arvind Kejriwal's call for Jail Bharo agitation. "I am not aware of Kejriwal's call for courting arrest in Delhi," he said. He however added that there was no rift between them and that they were united as before against corruption.
Meanwhile, Kiran Bedi too tweeted to say that she was not going to be a part of Kejriwal's latest agitation. In her tweet, she said that she was apolitical but "will stay with the cause".
The former members of the now-dissolved Team Anna, Arvind Kejriwal and Prashant Bhushan said they will launch their Jail Bharo agitation on Monday whereby they will surrender before the Delhi Police in response to the FIRs filed against them after their August 26 protests.
Kejriwal, Bhushan and other India Against Corruption members had planned a gherao of the residences of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and BJP President Nitin Gadkari.
They were detained and booked for making inflammatory speeches and rioting.
