Arpana Jinaga, a software professional was found, a few hours before milllions of Americans queued up to vote and change the destiny of their country.
Her Hyderabad based father Dr. Basavaraj C Jinaga is shocked to say the very least.
"Last night we came to know about this incident. We do not know the motive and we do not have any information about how this happened. They (the USA police) have also told us nothing more," said a grief stricken Basavraj Jinaga.
Arpana, a wiz kid was working as a software quality engineer at EMC Corp in Seattle.
The Redmond police in the US termed it as a highly suspicious death and started a full investigation.
Arpana's mother is a relative of Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and they are originally from Karnataka.
Her family is now leaving for the US to bring her body back to India.
What is more alarming is the unending spate of the mysterious deaths of techies from Andhra Pradesh working in the US.
