2nd triple murder in Bangalore, cops clueless

Bangalore: Another triple murder has shocked IT city Bangalore. Residents woke up to the news of a family being brutally killed in their apartment at Horamavau in the outskirts of the city.

Interior decorator Rahul Das, his wife Agnesha and their 10-year-old daughter were found dead in their bathroom by the police. The cops were alerted by Rahul's secretary, Pramila, after her boss didn't take her calls for three days.

Pramila says, "I had been trying to contact Rahul since Wednesday but there was no response. I went to their house but found it locked. I thought they might have gone on holiday. Then on Thursday I called Rahul's brother in Bijapur and when he came here out of suspicion, he alerted the police and we found them dead."

Rahul had no relatives in Bangalore. His brother - who has come all the way from Bijapur - is distraught. Police sources say they suspect the hand of someone known to the family, but the motive still eludes them.

Jt Commissioner (Crime), Alok Kumar said, "We still don't know the modus operandi and the purpose of the murder. Investigations are still on."

This is the second triple murder in the city in the past few months and the Bangalore Police have their task cut out for them.
