New Delhi: One person has been accidentally shot dead by Andhra Pradesh policemen on election duty in Karnataka's Dharamsthala.
The policemen had parked their jeep inside a park and some teenagers playing cricket objected to that.
The policemen fired in the air after an argument started with the teenagers, trying to scare them away, but the bullet hit a a passerby, 45-year-old Aithappa.
Another person was injured in the incident. Two Andhra Pradesh policemen have been arrested.
The local SP has reached the spot and investigations has been launched into the incident.
