AP: Parties should speak on Rayalaseema state, says TDP leader

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party general secretary and founder of the Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samiti Byreddi Rajasekhara Reddy reiterated that Rayalaseema too should be formed if the Centre decides to carve out Telangana from the state.

Addressing mediapersons here on Wednesday, he demanded that all political parties should spell out their stand on Rayalaseema. He said political parties should make it a point if they write to the Centre seeking formation of Telangana state.

He informed the mediapersons of hunger strikes that will be organised in Kurnool from August 4 to promote awareness among people on the need of formation of separate Rayalaseema state.

The leader said Rayalaseema too should be formed if the Centre decides to carve out Telangana from the state.
