New Delhi: The new Apple iPod touch, which was announced at Apple's iPhone 5 event on September 12, will be available in India through Apple authorised resellers by the end of this month, said Apple's spokesperson.
When asked about the iPhone 5 launch in India, the Apple spokesperson refused to comment. However, according to a report, the phone is likely to be launched in India on October 26.
The fifth-generation iPod touch will be available for Rs 23,900 in a 32GB model and Rs 30,900 in a 64 GB model. It is said to be the thinnest iPod touch ever, and has a 4-inch Retina display. The new iPod touch features a 5 megapixel iSight camera with 1080p HD video recording, Apple's A5 chip, Siri, the intelligent assistant, and iOS 6, Apple's most advanced mobile operating system.

The new iPod touch comes in a new ultra-thin and light anodized aluminum design, and for the first time ever, iPod touch comes in five vibrant colours. It is the 5th generation of the iPod touch. At 6 mm, it weighs 88 grams.
