New Delhi: Iconic gadget maker Apple has apologised after its iPhone game Baby Shaker angered parents and children foundations.
The 99 cents game asks users to shake their iPhones to quieten a virtual crying baby.
Once the user finishes shaking the device, the baby is painted with large red X's over its eyes.
The game has been removed from the online stores after it went on sale for two days.
Apple first posted the game on Monday, the start of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) Awareness Week. SBS is a form of child abuse resulting from shaking infants violently.
