We have not heard of SJ Suryah ever since his last film, Pawan Kalyan's 'Komaram Puli', flopped rather miserably and notoriously in the State. However, SJ has been in the news in Tamil Nadu, because he is coming back with 'Isai', where he is playing the lead role himself.
SJ had dreamt of remaking 'Komaram Puli' in Tamil, reprise Pawan's role himself, and score a super hit. His dream got shattered when the film sank without a trace in Telugu. Nevertheless, he is showing his signature verve and high energy levels in making 'Isai'.
The big news is that he is lending the music himself. Guess who encouraged him to take up this difficult task? None other than AR Rahman. In a recent interview, the actor-director said it was AR Rahman who urged him to compose music, as the Oscar-Grammy winner was impressed with his knowledge of music. It is true that SJ's films have had excellent music. Let's hope that SJ will rollick the State of Tamil Nadu, and later, Andhra Pradesh.

Also, the film features K Vishwanath in an interesting role.
