AR Rahman to act in a Malayalam film?

AR Rahman might appear himself for a few scenes in a upcoming Malayalam movie, if everything goes as planned. The film to be directed by Shajoon Kariyal and will be co-produced by Biju Menon.

The movie is a tale of five friends to be played by Biju Menon, Lal, Suresh Krishna, P Sukumar and Sunil Babu. Biju Menon plays a member in Rahman's troupe.

"To establish Biju's character, the director is planning to request Rahman to do a cameo. A few scenes will be shot at Rahman's studio in Chennai," say sources.

AR Rahman might appear in a upcoming Malayalam movie, which is to be directed by Shajoon Kariyal.

The Oscar-Grammy winner is now composing music for a host of movies, including Superstar Rajnikanth's 'Kochadaiyaan', Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal', Shankar's 'I', Dhanush starrer 'Mariyan'.
