Mumbai: An Army officer has been arrested for child pornography after he allegedly uploaded objectionable pictures on the Internet, police said on Friday.

Lieutenant Colonel J B Singh, who was arrested on Thursday after a complaint, was remanded in police custody till May 12 by a Mumbai court this morning.
Singh, who is posted with the Army’s supply and transport wing in Kolaba, south Mumbai, has been charged under the Section 67(B) (child pornography) of Information Technology Act.
