Character artist turned actor Manoj Nandam is all set to play hero in forthcoming Telugu film 'China Babu', to be directed by debutant director Sri Chandji.
"I chose to cast Manoj after seeing his performances in films like 'Chatrapathi' and 'Oka Romantic Crime Katha'," Chandji said at the launch of the film on September 16 at Annapurna Studios.
Manoj, who played the younger version of hero Prabhas in S.S Rajamouli's 'Chatrapathi', has also signed another project titled 'Bulli Pettalo Boochadu'.

Kannada actress Sanchita Padukone of 'Ravana', 'Vettaikaaran' and 'Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu' fame has been roped in to play opposite Manoj.
Touted to be a family entertainer, 'China Babu' is produced by Chandrasekhar.
