Original Mithu paintings are being given away with love to people who love her work. She calls it a summer dhamaka for her fans. Artist Mithu Sen has kept her promise that she made in 2007 to give her works for free only to those have who have written to her love letters, sent cards, crates of mangoes, abstract poems, CDs, bags, junk jewelry and a lot more. But she doesn’t call it free art. Instead, she terms it as an exchange of love, care and trust.
