Arushi case:CBI for extending Krishna custody

CNN-IBN

New Delhi: Krishna, Dr Rajesh Talwar's compounder and one of the suspects in the Arushi murder case will be produced in court on Friday. His four-day custody ends on Friday.

Last Monday, Krishna brokedown in court saying that the CBI was torturing him.

According to the CBI, Krishna had confessed to his involvement in the murders of Arushi and Hemraj. He has been subjected to narco-analysis and lie-detector tests. He has been in CBI custody since June 13 when he was arrested.

Meanwhile, on Thursday, court reserved its order on the bail application of Arushi's father, Dr Rajesh Talwar. This, after CBI told the court that they could not give him a clean chit as yet.

Talwar's bail application had come up for hearing in Ghaziabad on Thursday. Rajesh Talwar - who is also an accused in the case - has been in jail for over a month now.
