As the news sprouted out about a possible sequel of Mammootty's big hit 'Samrajyam' which came out in the eighties, all ears were on to hear who will don the lead role as the son of Alexander.
And now it is official. Kerala born Tamil star Arya has agreed to play the lead in this new movie which will be made in Malayalam by director Perarasu.
Muhammed Shafeeq will pen the script of this movie, which will also have a Tamil version. Prakash Raj, Arjun, Biju Menon, Manoj K Jayan and Suraj will be the part of the project which will be soon on sets.
