The 10th Junior Hockey World Cup got underway at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi on Friday with 16 teams in the fray to win the crown.
India, in Pool C alongside the Netherlands, Korea and Canada, began their campaign with a 2-3 defeat against the Dutch team and now take on Canada, who they must beat to stay alive in the tournament.
Netherlands have already qualified from Pool C with back-to-back wins against India (3-2) and Korea (3-2).
