(Australia beat New Zealand by three runs. Also, Sri Lanka lost to the defending champions West Indies by 33 runs at Dhaka. )

6:05 p.m. ALL OVER! WEST INDIES BEAT SRI LANKA BY 33 RUNS. Dwayne Bravo takes the last wicket of Senanayake to earn a comprehensive win for his side.

6 p.m. Lahiru Thirimanne has come out breathing fire, hits Narine for a four and a six in the 18th over, though the Lankans face an uphill task of scoring 39 runs in the last 12 balls with just one wicket in hand to upstage West Indies' 172, as Narine takes his fourth wicket in the form of Kulasekara (14).

5:50 p.m. SRI LANKA FALLING APART! Narine takes three wickets in an over, including two off consecutive balls, to send back Chandimal (14, Mathews (18) and Perera (0). Sri Lanka 109 for 8 in 16 overs, chasing West Indies' 172.

5:45: End of the 15th over as Sri Lanka reach 105 for 5, needing 68 runs in 30 balls to beat West Indies.

5:35 p.m. Russell gets another wicket! The West Indian pacer knocks over Prasanna (2). Sri Lanka, chasing 172 against WI, are 90 for 5 in 14th over.

5:25 p.m. DWAYNE BRAVO GETS TWO IN ONE OVER, dismisses Sangakkara (24 off 19) and Dilshan (43 off 36) in the space of four balls. Sri Lanka 81 for 4 in 12 overs, chasing 172 to beat West Indies.

5:18 p.m. AUSTRALIA (200 for 7) BEAT NEW ZEALAND (197 for 9) BY 3 RUNS in the warm-up game at Fatullah. Coulter-Nile bowled a dream last over giving away just five runs, while claiming the wickets of Jimmy Neesham (2). Devcich also fell in the same over by way of a run-out.

In the other game, at the end of 10 overs, Sri Lanka are 63 for 2, chasing West Indies' 172.

5:10 p.m. DOUBLED WICKET OVER! Starc has dismissed the dangerous Anderson (29 off 17) and Ronchi (21 off 15) in the space of four balls, leaving the Kiwis at 191 for 7, needing 9 runs in the last six balls to beat Australia (200).

Sri Lanka's chase of West Indies' 172 has reached 50 for 2 in the eighth over.

5 p.m. Anderson and Ronchi are turning it on for New Zealand, who now need just 17 off the last 12 balls to chase down Australia's 200.

Sri Lanka, chasing West Indies' 172, are 35 for 2 in 5 overs. Dilshan and Sangakkara on the crease.

4:50 p.m. At the end of 16 overs, New Zealand are 158/5, needing 43 runs in 24 balls to beat Australia.

Sri Lanka on the other hand have lost two quick wickets against West Indies, while chasing 173 to win. They are 18 for 2 in three overs.

4:35 p.m. New Zealand are 149 for 5 in 15 overs, chasing 201 to beat Australia. Ronchi batting on 5, Anderson on 8*.

While in the other warm-up match, Sri Lanka have just begun their pursuit of West Indies' 172 for 5.
