Mumbai: When Australian cricketer Brett Lee sang Haan Main Tumhara Hoon in singer Asha Bhonsle’s new album Asha and Friends, it’s possible that lines he said have completely bowled over the singing legend.
Though Brett lee is not a part of the World Cup due to his leg injury, but that’s not keeping him away from his second love, music. And there’s news that he may be coming together with Asha Bhosle for a second album.
“Brett and I met in Australia. He called me up to say that I’m coming to India and I want to sing duets,” says Asha.
Asha of course has sung in English before with British boy band Code Red, and has a passion for languages.
“Whatever little languages I know, I speak it sometimes. I have sung a songs in a lot of languages, that’s the reason I have a lot of fans from different places,” the singer says.
A lot of style, and a never die attitude is what has kept Asha tai, as she's fondly called, kicking and alive. And she has no intention of leaving the music scene any time soon.
