Mumbai: Friday saw the launch of the album Generations. The album brings together Veteran singers Asha Bhosle & Ghulam Ali.
It’s elating to hear these two veteran singers in one album, as Asha Bhosle & Ghulam Ali come together after 25 long years to recreate the magic with their new album Generations and as the two septuagenarian legends interacted, a nostalgic walk down memory lane was quite inevitable.
"Earlier we had done the record in ’84 and until now people look for it, good things never die," says, Ghulam Ali.
“One of the songs he taught me on the sets and we sang it without reharsals,” says Asha Bhonsle
With music composed by Ghulam Ali's son Aamir Ali, here's hoping that Generations to come would cherish the twelve track bonanza in the album.
