Mumbai: Just a day after legendary singer Asha Bhosle celebrated her 75th birthday her daughter Varsha has been admitted to Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai.
52-year old Varsha Bhosle was rushed to the Jaslok hospital earlier on Tuesday.
According to reports, Varsha had an overdose of sleeping pills and is currently in the ICU of the hospital.
She was rushed into the hospital at 4.30 a.m. by a family member.
“It is not a suicide attempt. She took an overdose of some medicine. She is now in the ICU,” said a senior police officer .
Varsha, a journalist, is a divorcee.
