Mumbai: Melody queen Asha Bhonsle is all set to woo her fans by singing in an all Marathi concert next week.
Mi Asha, a show where she will not only sing some of her popular Marathi songs, but will also narrate her life experiences during the performance.
The show, expected to draw a mega Maharashtrian crowd, will take place on October 28 in Thane.
"We are artists and we perform. So, there could not be a better place for sharing my life than a stage," a very excited Asha said.
There is another exciting offer for Asha by maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma – an invitation to lend her voice to her late husband R D Burman's memorable song, Mehbooba Mehbooba, from Sholay, which is now being remade by the director.
"I don't know if I'll sing, but they have asked me. But if I sing I'll try my level best," Asha said.
