Click to play videoMumbai: Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker released the DVD of his hit-movie Jodhaa Akbar. Adding glitter to the event were the some of the movie's cast like Javed Akhtar, Sonu Sood and Neeta Lulla.
It was also time for Gowariker to announce his next period drama on the anvil.
"My next film would be khele hum jee jaan se , it is based on the novel do or die written by Manani Chatterjee and it is about 1930's chitagong uprising event," says Ashutosh
However, he plans to complete his upcoming comedy, Whats your rashee. Gowariker, who has won accolades for serious cinema, calls his foray into comedy a big challenge. Whats your rashee stars Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles.
"A romantic comedy is an genre I have never attempted, how I will be able to make an entertaining, commercial film a good watch for the audiences will be challenge in itself," he adds.
