New Delhi: India will meet South Korea in the final of the Junior Asia Cup in Hyderabad on Friday.
Earlier, India beat Pakistan 3-1 in their semi-final on Wednesday. However, the on-field performance was largely overshadowed by fist fighting between players from the two teams.
The match turned ugly four minutes before the interval as players from both the teams exchanged blows in the Pakistani defence area.
It took the intervention of managers and officials to calm frayed nerves.
In the other semi-final, South Korea beat Japan 4-2.
India's road to the final did not have any hiccups.
Drag flicker Diwakar Ram helped India beat Japan 2-0 in the first match. Ram continued his form against Malaysia as well, as India won the game 3-1 to enter the semis.
