Asus launches 7-inch Fonepad with Intel processor in India at Rs 15999

New Delhi: Asus has launched its much-awaited 7-inch Fonepad in India at Rs 15,999. The 7-inch tablet incorporates 3G mobile data with full telephony support. It has a SIM card slot and a microSD card slot. Neatly tailored, much of its functionalities are hidden away out of the sight.

Weighing 340g, the tablet is moderately light in weight. The tablet has a 7-inch WXGA LED Backlight IPS panel (10 finger multi-touch) with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z2420 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and has 1GB RAM.

The has an internal storage space of 8GB model, of which only 4.39 GB is user-accessible. The tablet allows you to expand the memory up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The Asus Fonepad has a 3 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. The tablet supports 1080p videos.
