Puri Jagannadh was told by his guru, RGV, that audience don't take the story as seriously as the director takes it. "I think there is truth in what he said. What do we remember about 'Adavi Ramudu'? Aaresukoboyi paaresukunnanu.. song featuring NTR and Jayaprada and the dialogue like 'Ee adaviki nenu ramudini, neeku yamunni', said by the hero", PJ reflects.

The ace director, who made news when he said that DCM has got no story, justifies his belief by saying that audience don't come to watch a movie expecting education or lessons in morality/meaningful living. "They want time pass entertainment. They want either comedy or amazing stunts. They want to experience thrill", Puri said.

For those of us who have found no story in Businessman, Puri may not be trying anything first in DCM. Whether or not PJ can afford to cling on to "no-story-ism" will be clear sooner rather than later.
