Aus open champ Bhupathi set for more wins

New Delhi: Mahesh Bhupathi has had very little time on court since returning from a successful Australian open. Bhupati feels Chinese Taiepei was a tough opponent.

"Playing against an Asian team is always the tough task, and I think we have to go with our best team and give the best shot,” says Bhupathi.

And the team dynamics will change again for this tie. It is now certain that Prakash Amritraj is out of the mix after American passport holders were barred from playing for India.

"Definitely it is a blow to us, but I guess we have to deal with it," says Bhupathi

With Somdev Devvarman flying in from training abroad, and Yuki Bhambri flying off to the Nick Bolletieri Academy, it makes one curious whether the Indian training regime wasn't good enough to produce world beaters.

"We are all born and brought up here, I think we have good infrastructure, it is about bringing in expertise," adds Bhupathi.

And with 11 Slams already in his kitty, Mahesh aims to stay on court and count some more. The expectations are high from this Indian tennis superstar.
