Perth: India stretched the mighty Australia before losing 3-4 in their second match of the nine-a-side Lanco International Super Series hockey event here on Friday.
Sardar Singh, Danish Mustaba and Gurwinder Singh Chandi scored for India while Craig Boyne, Jacob Whetton and Trent Mitton struck for Australia. Boyne scored a brace.
Indian take on arch-rivals Pakistan on Saturday. They had lost 1-2 to England Thursday. The nine-a-side format is played with two halves of 20 minutes each.
