New Delhi: After running away with accolades for her role in Nagesh Kukoonoor’s Dor, Ayesha Takia is ready to play the leading lady opposite none other than Aamir Khan in Kajri.
Aamir—known for being a complete perfectionist—was quite impressed with Ayesha’s performance in Dor and more recently in Salaam-e-Ishq. He said, “Ayesha is the perfect blend of innocence and glamour.”
Ayesha is however, keeping tight lipped about bagging the project. The film is a remake of the super-hit South film Ghajini in which Tamil actor Asin played the lead.
Also featuring Priyanka Chopra in a supporting role, Kajri is reportedly an adaptation of Christopher Nolan's Memento which depicted the life of an amnesiac in search for the man who murdered his fiancé.
