At last Benkosri alias BK Srinivas has found success for his offbeat film 'Bhagirathi' in Kannada cinema. Producer Srinivas spent as much on his offbeat folktale as he usually spends on his commercial films. 'Bhagirathi' has been directed by Baraguru Ramachandrappa.

Ramachandrappa, known for quality films in Kannada, is taking his 'Bhagirathi' - starring Kishor, Bhavana, Dr Srinath, Hema Chaudhary, Thara, Shivadwaj and others - to 'Samudayadatta Cinema' from now on. It is the new culture that the intelligent director Ramachandrappa has began for his earlier films. He has completed 100 shows for his films in 100 places in the past.

Ramachandrappa has found support from Srinivas who is contacting schools and colleges on screening of the film at half the ticket price.
