Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a one-day old infant was discovered in a garbage bin near the suburb of Borivili. The baby was rescued when a passerby noticed a wailing noise from the bin.
He inspected the bin only to find an infant girl wrapped in a plastic bag. The child was then rushed to Bhagwati hospital where the doctors noticed shreds of glass in her skin.
The infant's breathing too was a little abnormal and so doctors put her on a ventilator. Doctors say the child's condition is now stable. Meanwhile, the police is trying to identify the baby's parents.
