New Delhi: If you've only just woken up to the fact that spring's over and summer has turned to autumn, don't worry.
There's a collection out there that will help keep you stylish through the seasons, no matter which city you happen to be in.
Raghavendra Rathore's Spring-Summer collection 2007 is clearly nature-inspired and global in scope.
After all it’s three sections are called ‘Ranthambore meets Africa’, ‘Jungle Lily’, and ‘Festive Splash’.
But the main muse is the youthful Indian women who are equally comfortable in Milan and Mumbai.
"I think I'm at an age where I don't like funky dressing, but I don't want to look like an aunty either. I like Raghavendra Rathore's clothes because they're elegant," says actor Riya Sen.
Riya only modeled two outfits during the entire preview and though Rathore won't be showing on the ramp this fashion week, those hankering for more can find a fully stocked Raghavendra Rathore stall at the venue.
"Buyers want to buy different fabrics at different times and the designer needs to be able to calibrate," says Rathore.
So if it's a classic yet cosmpolitan look you're aiming for, Rathore's your man for the season.
