New Delhi: The Sanctuary -RBS Wildlife Awards took place in Mumbai on Thursday evening felicitating the earth heroes, people who have dedicated their lives in conserving environment
Among the five award categories, The Wings award was conferred to CNN IBN for their work towards environmental journalism headed by Bahar Dutt.
“It is an award for the organisation as much for the journalistic work, for making environmental news as much important as maybe a political news on primetime- so kudos to the channel,” says Bahar Dutt.
The lifetime service award was conferred to Fateh Singh Rathore, ex-field director of Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.
