Bala seems to be busy on his birthday

Tamil: National Award winning director Bala celebrates his birthday yesterday (July 11).

The ace talent who has contributed quality films in Tamil cinema is known to be a tough taskmaster and for being a path-changer in his leads' careers, for they rise to the next level post his films, and the recognition Suriya & Vikram received after working with him stand testimony to this.

Bala is currently working on Paradesi that sees Atharva and Vedhika in the lead roles. It's a close to reality film reportedly based on fisher folk and is touted to see Atharva in a never seen before sort of look, with both the lead actors sporting a tan. Post production work is taking place in a full swing for this film that's Bala's fastest venture so far.

Post this movie Bala will be joining hands with his Sethu and Pithamagan star, Chiyaan Vikram for a film.
